Fred Hanna of Madison, CT added an instrument-airplane rating to his commercial pilot certificate on 12/15. Dave Strassburg is his instructor. You may recognize from a recent photo announcing that Fred just added his commercial multi-engine rating, also at the Northampton airport. His next step is off to school in January to learn to fly a Gulfstream for his company where he already is an accomplished Sikorsky pilot. In his spare time, Fred hopes to come back this summer to add a glider rating. Whew! The Northampton Airport is not just the home of friendly flying but where the pros come to train. Congrats Fred!
