Kim Barwick of New Jersey earned her Kimmercial Airplane Multi-Engine Rating on 11/6. Dave Strassburg is her instructor. Kim is already an highly-accomplished, barrier-busting corporate helicopter pilot for IBM and volunteer mentor for young women interested in aviation. When her company asked her to add her advanced airplane ratings to pick up duties also flying their Falcon jet, she was free to go anywhere in the country. We’re happy she chose the Northampton Airport. Soon we will be arranging a Breakfast Club trip down to Westchester County airport with a few plane loads of our many young female aviators for a tour of Kim’s workplace. Congrats Kim!
