Air Traffic Controllers from the Bradley TRACON gave an excellent talk here at 7B2 Sunday School on the work they do and how they can better serve the local pilot community. Over fifty pilots came out for this event, sharing questions, concerns, and suggestions.
Biggest takeaway was….they want to work with us! Partnering with them and using their services greatly enhances safety in many ways. Controllers want us to use flight following as much as we can! Not just for cross county trips but for sightseeing, maneuvers, and other local activities.
